Chimango recipe

Ingredients for making Chimango:
2½ cups of sour or sweet sprinkles
½ cup of milk (120 milliliters)
½ cup of oil (120 milliliters)
½ cup of water (120 milliliters)
½ cup of grated Minas cheese
2 egg units
1 tablespoon of butter
1 teaspoon of salt
How to make Chimango:
To make this traditional chimango recipe, start by heating the milk, oil, water, butter and salt. In a bowl place the flour.
When the above ingredients are boiling, add them to the powder and mix well, with a wooden spoon or spatula, until it becomes a hard and compact mass.
Knead until warm, then add the beaten eggs and, when well incorporated, add the cheese. Continue kneading until the cheese is mixed with the dough and the dough is soft, not sticking.
Shape the chimango dough into little powder cookies, but in a horseshoe or boomerang shape. Fry in hot oil then, or bake in a hot oven until doubled in volume and golden brown.
Tip: Use a pastry bag to shape the dough.
